GOAL 4 - Become THE destination for advanced interdisciplinary veterinary care for all species
The VMC is widely respected for its breadth of expertise and clinical services and now aspires to enhance its high quality, innovative programs to be further recognized as THE place for top veterinary care. To achieve these aspirations the clinical teams have identified specific programs for multidisciplinary planning, expanding the partnerships and collaborations to embrace the advantages of expertise within the school, the campus and beyond. Improved communications between VMC clinical teams and referring veterinarians and increased marketing and public outreach are high priority for strategic success.
4.1. Develop cutting-edge, interdisciplinary clinical programs that will distinguish UC Davis Veterinary Medical Center.
4.2. Build partnerships and collaborations with specialty practice and referring veterinarians.
4.3. Strengthen marketing, outreach and public relations to improve VMC’s reputation and identity.
