The success of the VMC depends upon a healthy, diverse community of faculty, staff and students. Recognizing the work environment requires constant communication, adaptability, innovation, dedication and hard work, the VMC strives to maintain a positive environment guided by our core values. Efforts to improve and maintain a healthy community will require increased awareness and attention by all, positive interactions and recognition for work well done, programs to support professional advancement and work-life balance, a structure that encourages team building and a fundamental respect and attitude that welcomes diversity at all levels reflective of our larger population demographics.
