GOAL 7 - Ensure continued financial strength and ongoing sustainability
The VMC is a large and complex enterprise dedicated to its teaching, patient care and translational research missions which must operate in a fiscally viable manner for sustainability and strategic growth. Recognizing these on-going challenges the VMC must develop a financial model based on sound business plans that can adapt to the changing demands of a health profession. With innovation a major component of the VMC increased philanthropic support will be key to its on-going success, facility expansion, cutting-edge equipment, recruitment of top faculty expertise and pursuit of new program initiatives.
